UniColor®: Laser transfer marking on the glass surface
The patent-registered boraident laser marking technology UniColor® generates a vitreous layer of nanoparticles on the glass surface. For this process, an argentiferous donor medium will be brought in contact to the glass surface and during a laser-induced process a high-contrast marking gets created on the glass material.
Properties of the marking
The laser marking technology UniColor® allows the creation a marking with the following properties:
The laser marking technology UniColor® allows the creation a marking with the following properties:
- chemical and physical resistant like the glass substrate itself
- thermal resistant up to Tg
- resistant against UV radiation
- no detracting of the glass stability (no inserting of strains or cracks)
- forgery-proof
- restrained, aesthetic, machine readable coloring
