The extraction of nanoporous glass membranes is core business of our business unit glassmembranes.Porous glass is prepared by extraction processes from phase-separated borosilicate glass, the so called VYCOR glass. During this extraction processes, defined glass pore sizes can be generated.
With customer-specific size and membran thickness, porous glass membranes are ideal items for material separation and for applications in solid-phase reactions as well as chemosensors and catalysts.
